The following sets up release 14.1.0 which people tell me should be used.

This is on uct3-edge3.uchicago.edu [UC Tier 3]

One time setup 
mkdir cmthome
mkdir testarea
cd cmthome/
. /osg/app/atlas_app/atlas_rel/14.1.0/CMT/v1r20p20080222/mgr/setup.sh
cp /osg/app/atlas_app/atlas_rel/14.1.0/cmtsite/requirements .
edit requirements file to have line macro ATLAS_TEST_AREA ${HOME}/testarea
cmt config

Each time setup 
. ~/cmthome/setup.sh -tag=14.1.0
. /osg/app/atlas_app/atlas_rel/14.1.0/setup.sh
