Web framework

• Marco has been working on the django framework - allows one to do web apps in python. Has a prototype running, but not many functional pages.
• One can view the internals of the skim database.

• Interface to a database that is customized for a skim.
• Goal is to activate through a web interface scripts that Jerry has written. A web-based control interface for the skimming service.

TAG and xrootd

• A filebased system for TAGS
• Generating tags at BNL
• Integration to pathena as a backend
• Need to monitor/profit from this

Problems with LRC access

• Jerry suggests that if he had a single pool.xml file with all the pfns, he could remove dependence on production LRC.
• All the AOD files in use are 12.0.6.

Repository CVS or SVN, UC or CERN

• We were going to put these into a subversion repository. We also have a CVS repository setup by Charles at UC.
• If at CERN, where to create the project?
• Jack will request creation of a project there.
