Help in AGLT2 LFC migration (with Shawn, Paul, Xin, Bob)
Decision on configuration for pilot:
Proposed logic to follow for the pilot (Paul and Xin in agreement):
Check if $OSG_GRID exist in the environment
if yes you can source $OSG_GRID/setup.sh
if not you can retrieve the setup from scheddb
check if $OSG_APP/atlas_app/atlaswn/ exist (if you don't have $OSG_APP you need it anyway for the releases, get it from scheddb)
if yes source $OSG_APP/atlas_app/atlaswn/setup.sh
if not assume there are no extra apps
Proposed way to locate python (Paul and Xin in agreement):
just use the python from the environment
eventually if the system python is not OK, it will be added to $OSG_GRID or $OSG_APP/atlas_app/atlaswn so it will go into the environment
NB Python in OSG_GRID/OSG_APP could cause trouble is system are eterogeneous (force 32bit installation)
Xin is removing all $OSG_APP/atlas_app/wnclient to avoid confusion
Xin is removing all $OSG_APP/atlas_app/python to avoid confusion
requirements for python:
2.3 or 2.4
Compatible with _lfc.so (GSG_GRID): same 32 or 64 bit
tests of wlcg-client on 64 bit machines (64 bit native, forcing 32bit)
