Monday

  • Teraport troubleshooting
  • UofC ATLAS meeting (3rd HEP)
  • Data transfer problems troubleshooting with Ambreesh
    • Grid transfers to local scratch (dq2_get -> gridftp, srmcp) seem to run reliably (no increased load, 20MB/s incoming traffic)
    • dccp copy out to /pnfs seems unreliable: lower rate huge variability in the rate (down to 7KB). It seems to be affected by load on the WN, load on the machine where dccp is running (a tar/gzip of a big file is causing problems)

Tuesday

  • DSS work at ANL with Jack and Jerry
  • Lunch out (Jerry's retirement)

  • ATLAS facilities meeting (phone EsNet)
