Basics

VM on ESXi install on itb-esx1.uchicago.edu. Running SL 5.3.

Pacman and OSG client installs

  • Pacman is installed in /opt/pacman-3.29, symlinked to /opt/pacman
  • OSG 1.2 client is installed in /opt/client, services for CA cert update, log rotation, and condor enabled and turned on
  • Changed /etc/profile to source /opt/client/setup.sh

Users created

  • Created train99 for testing glide-wms tutorial -- Burt Holzman is using this account
  • Created train98 for Rob Gardner
  • Created train97 for Jose Caballero
  • Created train96 for Suchandra Thapa
  • Created train95 for Marco Mambelli
