Installation

TAGPoolServices

• /home/cranshaw/TAGServices-dev/TAGPoolServices
  • head checkout from svn, updated as needed
  • /test - test scripts which have mostly been modified for use at this server
    • pylocaltest.py : local test script from Julius
  • /scripts - modified setup script, AtlasProduction,15.2.0.1,32.
    • modified cron.sh for automatic restart (daily at 0001) and cleanup of log area.
    • Get environment using

      source setup.sh

  • /run.uct2-dss - run directory like at CERN, currently has exactly the same authentication.xml as lxvm0341
    • Start server as at CERN: go to run dir, then

      ../scripts/TagPoolServices.sh start

      (or restart or stop or status)

Athenaeum

• /home/cranshaw/Athenaeum
  • lib - war and jar files, war file updated direct from Julius
• war file uploaded using tomcat manager page.

File Server

Testing

1. Tested that local server with

   python pylocaltest.py

2. Tested web service with

   ./test_ext_athenaeum.sh

   • files put in /tmp

To Do

• Install in location other than Jack's home directory.
• Upgrade to more current Atlas release
• Test connection to BNL
• Try connecting from ELSSI at CERN
• Work out details of file retrieval
